Dusty Blue Church Wedding and Reception at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion

I can’t believe it’s JUNE!!! Brandon and Madison’s gorgeous wedding day was one I looked forward to for a long time. It was my first wedding at the BEAUTIFUL First United Methodist Church in downtown Lubbock…and actually my first time to ever see the inside of this beautiful church! And, let me just tell you, it is one of the prettiest churches I have stepped foot in!!! When I was in college I took an art history class and we were supposed to go on a field trip to see the stained glass windows of which rank in the top ten in the WORLD of their kind, but something happened and we didn’t get to go. So to say I have been waiting a while to admire this church would be about 10 years in the making. Saturday was the most perfect, warm spring day with barely a cloud in the sky. We arrived in the bridal suite to a BIG BOX full of fun details to photograph, which always kicks my creativity off on the perfect foot! Plus, I was working with some of my favorite friends: Megan as my second shooter, the Eventfully Yours team, Alvin with DJ Kaigi, and the Cre8tive Wedding Films team! And, to top it all off, Brandon and Madison are the sweetest couple there ever was – so it was truly the BEST. DAY. EVER.

In addition to the Methodist Church, the Frazier Alumni Pavilion has been on my list of venues I wanted to photograph for the longest time. We even ended the night hearing the victory bells ringing all over the Texas Tech Campus after the TTU Baseball team won!! How’s that for a wedding exit!? Brandon and Madison both put so much thought into every moment and every detail of their wedding. Brandon and Madison had the most thoughtful gifts for their parents. The Eventfully Yours team executed Madison’s vision beutifully. Madison was such a generous, loving friend to everyone around her throughout the day. They are both joyful, gracious and shine such a bright light everywhere they go. I truly felt so privileged to be a part of their wedding day!
