This beautiful day began in the Eberley Brooks Salle building. Jessica was getting ready along with her girls when I arrived by the talented Lovestruck Artistry, Hannah and Callie. They always do an amazing job!!! I said hello and gave Jess a little peek of her beautiful bridal canvas of the image she chose from her bridals before bringing it to the cake table to be ready for display! Jess had all of her details all ready in the bride in hiding room in the chapel, and this was such a big help for me! As I walked into sage chapel, which is newly built at Eberley Brooks, all alone with nothing but the natural light coming through all of the beautiful windows I noticed an old church smell and it instantly took me back to the beautiful old churches I have been in and visited over the years. I could completely understand when Jess’s mom told me she chose to get married at Eberley Brooks because of the beautiful stained glass window that serves as a statement backdrop at the alter.
So many moments on this wedding day were intentional and with purpose, and to me this is one of the things I enjoy the most is the oportunity to preserve these moments for the couple. Trevor and Jessica’s families are so wonderful. I love that Trevor and Jessica’s marriage will be diligently prayed over by their parents for the entirety of their lives. I have known Trevor’s family since I was in high school as his younger sister is one of my very best friends – they even let me live with them for a year in college and also have supported me in my photography career from the start (10+ years ago), of which I will be forever grateful. I absolutely loved getting to know Jessica and her mom at her bridals and seeing her light up around Trevor as well as her bridesmaids.
Trevor and Jessica, I hope you’re enjoying your first few weeks as husband and wife! What a gift it is to call you friends and clients!! Thank you for entrusting me with this big responsibility! Enjoy your day through my eyes!
