Jessica’s bridal session was so fun! I LOVED her dress and a fun pop of color with the shoes she chose! Trevor and Jessica were married this weekend at Eberly Brooks and it was a DREAM!! I told Jessica at her bridals that Trevor was going to be blown away when he saw her on the wedding day, and that he was!

Jessica’s mom was there to help and brought some of the florals they planned to decorate with and it really added just enough and added an extra touch to pull in colors from their wedding day. The day we planned for her bridals we had interesting weather rainy, then not, then another random storm while we were photographing. So we were all glad we planned her bridals somewhere indoors and Sophia’s Place was so perfect for that! If you have lived in West Texas for any amount of time you understand the fickle weather and the guaranteed forecast of wind. Sometimes I like to think that photographers in West Texas got a raw deal, but then I think about how much better it makes us at location scouting, composition, and framing (hello making a few shrubs look like your in the forest) – don’t believe me, look at most shoots where there is foliage on my blog!

I absolutely love that Jessica picked a shorter wedding gown, I think it looked perfect on her. Lovestruck artistry killed it, as usual, on her hair and makeup! We even got a little golden hour glow INSIDE that shined through the west windows after the little rainstorm, and it was heavenly! Jessica and her mom were such troopers and went along with any idea I had and I think they are some of my favorite that I have done! Enjoy some of my favorite bridal portraits of Jess!
