CAYDEN + JACY

Cayden and Jacy were married at the Lajitas Golf Resort in Lajitas, Texas. If you have never been you will want to visit after this blog post! I am so glad Jacy asked me to photograph her bridals and their wedding day, and I am even more excited to share their gorgeous day with you!

The weather in Lajita’s was more than perfect. Usually, it can get pretty hot even in September here, but we were blessed with a cool day and even snagged some cloud cover for the outdoor ceremony. I have so many favorite moments of this day, but my favorite would be the absolute joy and love that was shared by everyone involved. Jacy and Cayden are so very loved and this day was a beautiful testament to that.

The wedding was coordinated by the talented Eventfully Yours Team and they really outdid themselves for this wedding. I am sharing WAY more pictures in this blog post than I should, but the cohesive aesthetic of the decor, colors, location, and vision for this wedding day made it so hard to choose less than what I am sharing!

This wedding was also the very first wedding my husband and daughter attended that I photographed. I was so excited (and a little nervous) for them to get to actually see me working the wonderful job I have! We had actually planned to attend Cayden and Jacy’s wedding even if I wasn’t their photographer! Cayden is my husband’s step-brother and I met him when Blaze and I started dating 10 years ago. Cayden’s mom is also a photographer and actually was one of the first people to tell me to pursue photography! She took photos of Blaze and me when we were dating and then our engagements! So to now be a full-time photographer and to have photographed her son’s wedding is a huge honor.
