Hello Bride-to-be and Welcome! 

This is such an exciting time for you! I am Macalee and I am the owner of MacTaylor Creative! I am so excited that you found me and because I believe that getting to know clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about me and my family! Here are a few things you should know!

Blaze and I met in college
(Lubbock Christian University).

We’ve been married since 06.28.14.

We have a daughter named Brynn born on 10.30.16, and a Mini Aussie named Lace!

We live in Lubbock, TX, but we love to travel.

I started this business in 2009 while I was in undergrad.

I am the lead photographer, email writer, blogger, and editor.

I love creating beautiful images, but more importantly I love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!

What was your favorite part of your MTC bride experience?

If I had to pick one, it would be taking my bridal pictures. Macalee is so much fun and has great ideas. She makes you feel like you're on top of the world.

Macalee makes everything run so smooth on your wedding day. You will barely notice she is there and when you do, she is making you smile and laugh to take the best photos ever.

Macalee was amazing. She captured our engagements, my bridals, and finally the wedding! She didn’t keep me waiting long either to see the photos. I had a sneak peak within a day of each shoot and the full gallery followed quickly behind. 

In addition to capturing our photos, Macalee also designed our save the date, sign in book, and helped me order larger canvases to ensure they came in how I wanted them too. I could rave about Macalee for days. She went above and beyond to capture this special moments in our lives and I couldn’t imagine our wedding without her. I can’t wait to use her in the future.

I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over!

My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images!

Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.

One way I ensure that brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with the couple.
I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the PERFECT fit before officially booking.

A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography!

Prices shown are prices paid in cash or check and with out taxes.
If you choose to pay by card online, there will be a 3% increase to the invoice due to a processing fee.
A payment plan is offered and I require the amount to be paid in full one week prior to the wedding date.

*To ensure excellent coverage of the ceremony and "big moments" of the day I recommend adding a second photographer for a minimum of 2 hours.

Engagement Sessions

All of the Wedding Experiences include a complimentary engagement session. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how we pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 15-30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.

Sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, I’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Albums

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on coffee tables.

All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revision. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day.

We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a 20% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 1 week before the wedding.

How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?

Galleries typically include anywhere between 600 and 800 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on Facebook as long as you credit me and link to my website.

When do you charge travel fees?

I typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 60 mile radius from my home in Lubbock, Texas. Fees vary depending on location so ask me for more details.
