I have had the pleasure of knowing baby Jack’s parents since 2016. I met Emily in the weeks before school started in August 2016. We both were new to the campus in the district. Emily would be teaching Digital Art at this campus, and I taught a similar subject at a different school district. We learned we were both art majors, so we discovered we had quite a bit in common. Fast forward three years, and we still teach in the same district but now at two different schools and we are both teaching subjects that align, and it is so fun!
Matt and Emily are such special people. They have been very ready to be parents! I am so excited for them to embark on the journey of parenthood together. Just a week in, and they are already great parents to little Jack. I can’t wait to watch Jack grow and spend many evenings sharing dinner and stories of parent life!
Thank you, Matt and Emily, for allowing me to capture this precious and extraordinary time. I hope you make an album of some kind and look back on these sweet photos of your baby boy and even in sleep deprivation remember those tiny hands, feet, and the loving gaze that make being delirious all worth it.
