A Timeless West Texas Bridal Shoot

NATALIE INGLE | BRIDALS

OLTON, TEXAS

I love that part of my job is to shoot bridal sessions. Especially when I’m working with brides like Natalie! I just love her and I’m actually feeling a little bittersweet writing up this blog post. I feel like we were just messaging about how she was engaged to the love of her life!! Is it just me or does time seem to fly by faster and faster the older we get?!

Natalie wanted to take her bridals around her home town and on a section of land where her family has cattle – and I think that is so special. Natalie got into her dress at her parent’s home I was just in awe at how stunning she was! Her dress was perfect! We walked outside and though it was a little windy (when is it not in West Texas?!), we had overcast skies and a deep blue thunderstorm cloud in the distance… which I love! It’s like God gave us a giant softbox for her shoot! Then, the clouds opened up right before sunset for a BEAUTIFUL glow – that I freaked out over – and we even got to see a rainbow!

I rode around Natalie’s hometown, and the fields of West Texas with Natalie, her sweet mom, and sister! I don’t what I loved more… the portraits or the time I spent with this amazing family! It’s such a blessing to get to catch up with such awesome people through my job. Even though Matthew and Natalie’s wedding is over, I feel so lucky to have them as friends that I will cherish for a lifetime! Enjoy some of my favorites from Natalie’s shoot and let me know which is your favorite!!! I love them all! You can never go wrong with a big West Texas sky!
