A timeless Summer wedding at Kitalou Gin

ANDREW + ANSLEY

What a wedding to remember! Andrew and Ansley are the sweetest couple. You can just feel it when you’re with them! You can see it when you watch them interact. You can hear it in the stories that their family members and best friends shared about them. They are truly soulmates and best friends. They have an undeniable love for one another and that is why their wedding day was incredibly joyful!! I love Andrew’s family – and church family, they have been some of my very favorite weddings and bride and grooms to have had the opportunity to cross paths with all starting with his sister’s wedding a few years ago!

I showed up on the wedding day and the venue, Kitalou Gin, was already decorated beautifully by the talented Fig and Flower Co.. and coordinated by the amazing Eventfully Yours Team. I started the day by photographing details in the bridal suite, the bridal party was so incredibly helpful and extremely positive and supportive of Andrew and Ansley having the best day! Extremely kind to me and Megan, of Megan Reddekopp Photography, my second photographer. Andrew and Ansley had picked the most amazing venue for their wedding day, and this is my very first wedding here, and I was so excited because Ansley’s Bridals are some of my very favorites that we took here at Kitalou Gin. I was also super excited they decided on a first look because they ended up with SO many beautiful portraits! The Kitalou Gin has such versatility and options for portraits, and has done an excellent job with upkeep and constantly improving their venue!

They shared the sweetest first look before the ceremony at the Kitalou Gin. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Andrew and Ansley had everyone sign a beautiful wood sign made by Andrew – how fun of an idea is that! I was also so excited that we got a chance for some more portraits of Andrew and Ansley while guests were eating dinner and before the storm hit! In fact, I believe the Lord held off the rain so that we could have all of the main events at the reception. The bottom fell out within an hour of their exit, and Andrew and Ansley almost literally floated out of their wedding due to the flash flood! But even ending with a flash flood this was a wedding to remember and what an honor it was to capture their day!!! I loved getting to meet Ansley’s family and friends and see Andrew’s again, celebrate alongside them, and document their love!!! Enjoy my favorites!
