A Rainy Tuscany Hill Spring Bridal Session

JULIA

As I sit down to type this post and am uploading photos I can’t help but think, didn’t I just take Julia’s high school senior photos? I did… 7 years ago when, I myself, was planning a wedding that June. Julia is my beautiful cousin who has been in front of my camera since she was in elementary when I was learning how to use my first DSLR camera! Also, I have many many memories of Sunday lunches, holidays, and celebrations with Julia and the Loschke cousins – but enough of memory lane… Julia was MARRIED this past weekend to her college sweetheart, Ty!!! Stay tuned for the wedding post tomorrow – I’ll tell you all about it!

The week we planned Julia’s bridals was the one week in May that I didn’t have another shoot, wedding, or event and despite my positive thinking that the rain would eventually stop…(like it usually does in Lubbock) it didn’t. So we had to PIVOT (Friends reference, IYKYK) and did beautifully. We photographed her bridals all around the Springs Tuscany Hill venue in Anna, Texas where they tied the knot on Saturday.

My talented mom (who used to work part-time for my uncle who ran a floral shop for 40+ years) showed off her skills with Julia’s beautiful bridal bouquet as well as all of the florals on their wedding day, and our entertainment for the session was provided by my 4yo that was a flower girl in the wedding… I believe she got the most out of the rain that day ending up soaked from running out into the rain and stomping through puddles every chance she got!

Julia if you are reading this, I am terribly sorry for my horrible grammar and punctuation, my husband is probably cringing right there with you! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from this session!
