A Glamorous Black and White Wedding

What a BEAUTIFUL wedding! Wow! Chris and Lydia had a fairytale of a wedding day on Saturday. The classic black, white, and gold with a polished crystal glam vision Lydia had for her day came to life beautifully. Every detail was thoroughly thought through, and it was an honor to photograph.

From the moment I arrived in the bridal suite Lydia, her sister, mom, and niece were all laughing and full of joy. I had so much fun hanging with the girls while I photographed Lydia’s perfectly curated details (as should expect coming from a fellow photographer and wedding coordinator).

Their energy, their joy, their strong family bonds, their dancing skills…. it made for the most amazing wedding day! Chris and Lydia have been together since High School. Watching Chris and Lydia start their married life together and celebrate with family was such a sweet and precious event to capture.

I have a few favorite moments of this day, but first I and far-most I loved seeing Chris light up anytime he saw, talked about, or was around Lydia. I truly believe they are a beautiful pair and pray that they have a long and happy marriage. Second, was the epic energy and dancing skills both families have. I have photographed a good amount of weddings over the past ten years and this reception was FUN! Third, was when Lydia wheeled her grandmother out on the dancefloor to have a little fun – I even saw grandma crack a smile in all of that spinning and twirling! Last but not least favorite moment of the day was the intense bouquet and guarder tosses. Again, with the years of weddings under my belt, I would rate their tosses for sure in the top 5! The girls didn’t stand a chance though all put out a good effort and the guys were a nail-bitter to who the winner would be – check out the photos below and you will see what I mean!
